Lakers a tad short on pre-season opener vs. Jazz

Although the LA Lakers were a tad short of a win on their pre-season opener vs the Utah Jazz, they still looked good.  Bynum is looking healthy and put up some good shots and seemed fairly aggressive.  Turnovers killed the Lakers, Bryant and Bynum each had four!  Gasol was out early with bloody lip, oh well, he deserves it after his performance against the Celtics in the championships.  Besides the gigantic amount of turnovers the Lakers had, Deron also took us to the cleaners.  God, he’d look great with a purple and gold uniform on eh?  The Lakers still managed to shoot 50 percent from the field considering it was the first game back.  Oh yeah, and Walton and Sasha The Machine Vujacic didn’t play… that always keeps our numbers above 50%!  Bynum was a 100% on free throws for the night, I’m sure he had a ton of practice shooting from the line while he was injured.  Keep it up Bynum!  Besides Bynum, Farmar and Ariza were lookin’ good!  I know we are looking forward to some good things from all three of them this season.  As for Mihm, Carl, Heath, Crawford, & Powell… well, it’s time to earn those paychecks and spots ladies!  Get it done.
