Lakers Fan Wishlist?

THE LOCKOUT…
NBA fans are in the middle of a lockout that looks quite different than the one that the NFL just resolved. For one, the NFL is profitable and with the potential of risking losing a season where they made $9.3 billion last year did not seem like a realistic option. Two, the NFL does not have profitable international competition willing to buy its stars if there was a lockout. The same does not hold true to the NBA where players are calling their agents and asking them to start taking offers on International teams. The two sides are on very different sides and many people believe this will not get resolved until 2012, delaying the first half of the season.
Sooooooooooooo? As Lakers Fans…. what do we want if there is no season?
1. Kobe Healthy
I think EVERY Lakers fan can agree we would love to see Kobe fix his knee and finger and just CHILL OUT. Go sit on the beach and sip a Corona buddy! You need it.
2. New Squad
Who are we picking up? Who are we dropping? We already know who took off, let’s knock this out and move forward.
3. Team BBQ’s
Once the team for the new season is set in stone, I think it’s time for some quality hang out sessions. We all know how important team chemistry is. Let’s not show up to play as strangers. I’m sure Pau can cook up some mean tapas. Lamar will bring the dessert.
