The Los Angeles Lakers played a Tuesday night game versus the Phoenix Suns, that ended up being one of the highest scoring shootouts this NBA season. The Lakers were able to win after 3 overtimes 139-137 in a back and forth thriller that had numerous highlight plays within it. Kobe Bryant was just one assist away from a triple-double to go along with 12 rebounds and 42 points and showed once again he is the game’s best closer.

Odom had 29 points and 16 rebounds but had a costly foul that lead to another overtime as he fouled a three point shooter. Ron Artest came up with some big plays on both ends of the court to secure the victory. Nash had 19 points and 20 assists for the suns as he made some remarkable passes to keep the suns in the game. Gortat and Frye also displayed some accurate shooting throughout the game to keep pushing the game into extra overtimes. The Lakers are still holding off Dallas for the second spot in the western conference.
