DUMBEST TRADE. WE LOST A YOUNG PLAYER WITH GREAT SKILLS WHO WILL ONLY GET BETTER AND BETTER AND WE TRADED HIM FOR A OLDER PLAYER WHO IS A SORE LOSER THAT HATED KOBE BRYANT! WTF?!
WHAT IS TREVOR THINKING SERIOUSLY? I HEARD HIM SAY IN AN INTERVIEW THAT ALL HE WANTS TO DO IS WIN, BUT YET HE’S LEAVING A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM TO PLAY FOR THE ROCKETS. HES GOING TO REGRET THIS TRADE ONCE HE SEES THE LAKERS TAKE HOME THE 2009 - 2010 CHAMPIONSHIP AND MANY MORE VICTORIES WITHOUT HIM. ONLY IN THE LAKERS COULD TREVOR BECOME AND STAY A STAR AND BE RECOGNIZED BECAUSE OF HIS TALENT, BUT I GUESS NOT ANYMORE. HE WILL BECOME JUST ANOTHER PLAYER THAT PLAYS FOR THE NBA..
totally agree with you bazy. he is only as known as he is because he played well on the biggest stage in the biggest market. now his name will fade away like all the others. the only way to be a star is to play for a winner. no one cares about the best players on the worst teams.
I disagree Francine we got a great player for dirt cheap, Artest wants to win a ring as he put it on Sportscenter, “it’s not about making money, I’ve done that throughout my career I want to win a championship.” And not to mention we have the greatest coach in NBA history on the sidelines, Phil Jackson. He kept Dennis Rodman in line there is no way he can’t do the same thing with Ron Artest
FRANCINE, I disagree with you. I loved Trevor but he doesn’t have the one on one skill to be THE MAN, which is what he needs to be in Houston. He’s good role player, might be a great role player in time but role player none the less. Artest will be Kobe’s Rodman. He can guard Lebron, Shaq, KG, Rasheed if it comes to that. If we get Lamar back, we will have the most skilled, most physical front line in the NBA and I want a rematch with that P#$$y Pierce.
I was a HUGE fan of Ariza and he left the world championship team for the SAME (i think) amount of money! I really don’t like Artest. What so ever. I am not a big fan of people that go and beat up fans. and then a couple years later get all up in kobes face like a million times in a 7 game series… its not cool. he may be better in numbers but seriously…. he will disrupt the chemestry of the team… bad move by mitch kupchack…. bad bad move.(iknow i already wrote this butit applies here too!)
