Who is the classic old guy that always sits with Jack Nicholson at the Lakers games?

His name is Lou Adler, remember it. What has Lou done to get those sweet seats? Ever heard of a lil’ cult classic called “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”? Yeah, Lou produced that diddy. Lou also produced the comedy classic “Up in Smoke” starring Cheech & Chong. He also is HUGE in the music scene. Adler produced and managed a band called The Mammas & Pappas who had a lil’ hit called “California Dreamin’”, heard of it?! Lou produced the Monterey Pop Music Festival which included Otis Redding, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, etc. Hmmm… what else? Oh yeah, Lou owns the Roxy Theater on Sunset in Hollywood! His son, Cisco, produced Mickey Avalon’s huge debut album, Cisco can be heard on the radio doing the song “Buzzin”, and was the frontman of the rockband “WhiteStarr”. Getting back to Lou… how big of a Lakers fan is Lou? Well, he’s been a loyal fan since most of us were babies or not even born. He’s seen the good, the bad, and the ugly, and he’s stuck with the Lake Show. So, next time you’re watching the game and you hear someone say,

“Hey look, there’s Jack!”… correct them by saying, “Don’t forget Lou”.
